Critical statements by former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich (included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of terrorists and extremists) regarding the actions of the country’s authorities do not affect the processes taking place in Ukraine. This was stated on November 9 by the adviser to the head of the office of the Ukrainian leader, Mikhail Podolyak.
“I don’t think that we should analyze all the exes and so on, what influence they have, if this influence is destructive. I don’t think it is necessary to have a discussion about Mr. Arestovich’s initiatives, which will not have an impact on certain decisions that the country will make. By the way, we don’t have election procedures yet, so this doesn’t affect anything at all,” he said on the Ukrainian service of Radio Liberty (recognized as a foreign agent media in Russia).
At the same time, Podolyak could not confirm or refute the words of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexei Danilov that Arestovich’s actions are already being studied by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). According to him, he has no information on this issue.
Earlier, on November 4, Arestovich admitted that he was lying when talking in his blogs about Ukraine’s quick victory over Russia.
