Another tremendous ending in ‘The Rings of Power’, a prequel to ‘The Lord of the Rings’, although without a trace of dwarfs — these masters of irony are missed — or hairy. Key-weapons, forest chases and many battles in the battered Southlands, and even debates about whether or not orcs deserve any respect. Borja Crespo and Marta Madruga analyze all this and criticize the uneven pace of the series, which always leaves a good taste in the mouth with the final cliffhangers, but goes through much poorer sections
The context piece this time deals with the figure of Morgoth, the previous evil lord who is dropped by many conversations in the series. This dark protagonist of the Silmarillion, practically a divinity of evil, is key to understanding the current state.
