Amidst growing cases of Corona virus in the country, PM Mendi can hold a meeting with the CMs of all states on Tuesday. There may be collective discussion on the challenges ahead and measures to fight it. Along with this, the strategy of how to reach the common people as soon as possible after the vaccination of Kovid will be discussed. However, the meeting has not been officially confirmed yet.
This meeting with all the CMs of PM Modi is taking place after the High Level team has been sent to the Government of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. After the sudden rise of the Kovid case in several states including Delhi, measures like limited lock down muscle night curfew are being made once again. However, the central government has now ruled out the possibility of further complete lockdown.
PM can meet in two stages
According to sources, on Tuesday, PM Modi can meet in two phases. In the first phase, we will meet with the affected states and in the second phase, meet with the CMs of all the other states and talk about the management of vaccine management and vaccination. According to sources, Kovid vaccine may come in the country early next year, distribution of which will also be a big challenge. This will require huge resources.
Corona case increased due to festivals
In fact, after the festival ended, states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala suddenly went wild in new cases. Such apprehension is being expressed that due to the reports of negligence during Durga Puja, more cases may increase in the coming days. In view of this, PM Modi can discuss with CM how to balance between unlocked and precautionary steps.
PM has met 6 times with chief ministers
Earlier on 23 September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with the CMs of the seven most affected states of the country Maharashtra, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. After the Kovid epidemic, PM Modi has addressed the country on seven occasions so far while all have had 6 meetings with the CM. In his address to the country on October 20 last month, PM Modi said that- In recent times, we have seen many pictures, videos which clearly shows that many people have stopped taking precautions now. This is not right – be it America today, or other countries in Europe, the cases of corona were decreasing in these countries, but suddenly started increasing again.
Precaution necessary to avoid lockdown
Experts have been warning that as the second wave of Kovid in Europe has worsened the situation and many countries have to put a fresh strict lockdown here. Precaution is necessary even before the situation does not deteriorate. In view of these apprehensions, according to the sources, the adverse impact on the economic front of the already strict lock-down is not likely to recur but some precautionary steps can be taken. Measures such as strictness to implement minimum vigilance may be discussed. In many states, provisions such as severe penalties have been made in the direction of masking.
