Get creative with PlayStation Talents.
Sony Interactive Entertainment España provided the first look at four new games that make up the PlayStation Talents out this year. These projects will start development immediately, will be released on Playstation in the coming months and will include the winner of the 8th PlayStation Talents Awards, Dark Life: Excalibur.
To join the aforementioned action RPG there are Neon Blooda 2.5D JRPG developed by Madrid-based ChaoticBrain Studios; Slaughter No Hita pixel art roguelike developed by the Barcelona studio Rebel Crew e The Silent Swan, a first person walking simulator set in an open world and developed by the Circenses Studio of Bilbao. Here is a preview of all four games.
Dark Life: Excalibur
Dark Life: Excalibur tells the story of Aron, a human being linked to the legendary sword Excalibur. Aron will organize a mission to defeat York, the Lord of the Giants, who killed Aron’s family. To do this, Aron will have to upgrade Excalibur to make it the most brutal sword ever given away by a warrior. Whenever Aron kills an enemy, the player earns points which can be spent on different perks and parts to improve the sword’s power.
Neon Blood
After World War III, the entire Earth lives in Viridis, a megalopolis made up of two large cities, the wealthy Bright City and the dystopian Blind City. The first is the home of the rich and powerful, while the second is the place of the poor. Tired of the everyday injustices he’s used to, a Blind City detective named Axel McCoy will start a revolution to tear apart the corrupt government in this 2.5D JRPG set in a cyberpunk world.
Slaughter No Hit
After an entire life working in a slaughterhouse, enjoying fishing and hunting, Yael discovers that people are judged in the afterlife based on the number of animals they have killed during their lifetime. Convinced that he is going straight to hell, Yael will try to get rid of his past with the help of Pat, the grumpy old apron he inherited from his father.
The Silent Swan
The Silent Swan is a first-person open world narrative experience in a monolithic and abandoned world. The game blends walking simulator and open world mechanics allowing players to wander through open spaces on a scale never before seen in the genre. Its silent world is interwoven with mysteries for players to unravel as they explore unique, handcrafted locations.
