Jason Schreier is keen to shed some light on Sony’s ‘Game Pass’.
Following yesterday’s scoop on the Sony’s “Game Pass”, codenamed Spartacus, Jason Schreier he wanted to clarify an important feature of the service, knowing that the already existing service of direct competition takes advantage of this initiative.
The Game Pass-like subscription service, in fact, will not see the great exclusives present at Day One, as instead proposes Microsoft. In his tweet, Schreier is crystal clear: “Don’t expect Sony to include its big releases on Day One like Game Pass does.”. All is not lost, as, adds the Bloomberg reporter, the offer should still be better than the current PS Now.
This new service, expected in the spring, will likely retain the “PlayStation Plus” branding. Don’t expect Sony to include its big new games day one like Game Pass does, but the expectation is a stronger offering than PlayStation Now

The fact that Schreier specified “big releases” gives hope that slightly less “flagship” exclusives or other cross-platform titles could actually appear at Day One in the service (such as Atomic Heart, multiplatform arriving on the consoles of both sides and PC, but present at Day One on Game Pass), but it is a speculation to be taken, in any case, with a grain of salt.
