Through their social networks, PlayStation has just announced a new State of Play to show new features for PS5 and PSVR 2. The event will happen this May 30 at 3 in the afternoon Pacific time, which in central Mexico time would be 4 in the afternoon.
According to the announcement, we will see more than 30 minutes of news for 14 titles for both PS5 and PSVR 2. They also say that they will announce some of the games that PlayStation Studios has prepared for the remainder of this 2024.
Since January of this year we did not have a new State of Play. The one at that time focused on games from the first half of 2024 and also presented a new trailer for Death Stranding 2 Surely this one will also have some surprises throughout its duration.
PlayStation has been quiet for quite some time regarding the projects its studios are working on. In addition, a few months ago they said that they did not plan to launch any game within a well-known franchise until 2025. What could PlayStation show during this State of Play?
Obviously PlayStation did not reveal the name of the games we will see during this State of Play. However, we can hope that it will be like some past events, with a mix of exclusive games, as well as some somewhat anticipated cross-platform ones that decided to be revealed here.
We also cannot forget that there are several titles that were announced in the past that have not received news for some time. Among them we find Phantom Blade Zero and the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic which would be exclusive to PS5. Will we see them here? Only time will tell.
