Private higher education institutions offer a range of benefits to students who wish to attend college in 2022. This week, the institutions launched a joint platform where students can search for the undergraduate and graduate courses they want and receive discounts , earn extra courses or other personalized perks.
For this, you must register in https://www.futuria.com.vc/. There, it is possible to search for courses in cities and educational institutions. After completing the registration, the user receives a message by email like voucher benefit of the selected institution. With the ticket in hand, just look for the educational institution, know the details and enroll.
The platform is part of the movement #I’mFuture, whose objective is to sensitize society and encourage the entry and maintenance of undergraduate and graduate students throughout the country. It is an initiative of the Brazilian Association of Higher Education Supporters (Abmes) and Universia, linked to Santander Universities, the bank’s educational arm.
Each institution decides the special condition of the offer. The Ser Educacional initiative includes YDUQS, UniCesumar, Ânima Educação, UniCarioca, Trivento Educação, Unip, Cruzeiro do Sul Educacional, among other sponsors that together represent a large part of higher education in the country. According to Abmes, thousands of places are offered in undergraduate and graduate courses, in the on-site, hybrid and distance modalities in the most diverse areas of knowledge with special and personalized conditions.
“After so many problems regarding everything that Brazil has faced, it is time to retake the importance of higher education for the future of young people. That’s why we brought together all of our interested associates and Santander Universidade through an initiative they already have to value education”, said the CEO of Abmes, Celso Niskier.
A survey carried out by the association showed that 44% of young people have doubts about returning to school after the pandemic, mainly due to lack of financial resources. Of the participants, 66% said they could not afford the investment in a degree. They also highlighted the fear of returning to classes in person and the uncertainty of getting a job placement.
According to the executive superintendent of Santander Universities Brazil, Nicolás Vergara, it is important to raise awareness and mobilize the maximum number of young people and all those who want to return or enter college, supporting them in this action. “We are using Futuria, our platform focused on education, at this time exclusively to attract interested parties, because we believe in higher education as a lever for the formation and evolution not only of the individual, but of the country”, he concluded.
