A charter plane with Russian citizens on board was detained in the Arctic part of Canada, this was announced by the Minister of Transport of the country Omar Alhabra in his Twitter-account.
According to him, the plane was detained in the administrative center of the Northwest Territories – the city of Yellowknife. He did not specify the number of people in the aircraft. At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Transport added that the detention was due to sanctions against Russia because of Ukraine.
