Mexico City.- Workers of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (PJF) today asked the Chamber of Deputies to allow them to participate in the consultation and preparation of the secondary laws of the judicial reform, approved on September 11.
A group of around a hundred jurisdictional employees, led by their spokesperson Patricia Aguayo Bernal, went to San Lázaro this Tuesday to present two documents with that request.
“In this writing (we are) requesting that the Political Coordination Board of the Chamber of Deputies receive us, with the purpose of participating in the preparation and consultation of the secondary laws that will implement the constitutional reform to the PJF,” Aguayo said before workers at the main entrance of the Chamber. “In addition to also requesting that legislators abide by the suspensions granted by federal judges in the different amparo trials that have been promoted against the procedure for the constitutional reform of the PJF.”
One of the writings was signed by judicial personnel from Mexico City and the other by representatives of the movement called 32 Circuits, that is, from all the districts of the Country.
Unlike other occasions, this time the workers’ demonstration had its counterpart, since Morena supporters also arrived at the doors of the Chamber with blankets and banners in favor of judicial reform. “The reform is going! The reform is going! The reform is going!” the protesters shouted. In an interview, Aguayo asked the Executive and Legislative Branches to respect the suspensions that order to temporarily stop the implementation of the judicial reform, while he asked President Claudia Sheinbaum not to comment on legal issues because it is a matter that she is not familiar with. “Well, she is not a lawyer, she cannot give an opinion on what she does not know, it is better that she give an opinion on her subject, on the environment, on her actions and activities as President and that she still has this country in a bloodbath, if not “Ask Chilpancingo,” said the workers’ spokesperson. “The Judiciary also has powers and one of them is precisely the issuance of suspensions in the protection trials that are promoted, so, if they want respect for their laws and their powers, I believe that they are also obliged to respect the orders they issue. federal courts. He questioned the ruling party’s position regarding the determination of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation to open a controversy to decide if it has the power to review the judicial reform. “Well, it was done in accordance with the law, it is one more thing that is bothering Morena a lot, because they are even trying to carry out political trials for the simple and simple fact that the ministers are doing their job, and I think that “They are making a mistake by making those inflammatory demonstrations, because today they are generating a constitutional crisis for you,” he expressed.
