In the last few days we have had the opportunity to try it first-hand demo Of Pizza Spya brand new point-and-click graphic adventure developed by the Italian studio of FootPrintsGames.
As we told you in recent days, it is a light-hearted title with a comedy style, which this time will put us in control of a very particular spy: Ace Cooka Pizza Spy ready to safeguard the world balance from every gastronomic danger!
A train in danger!
The demo we were given is quite short, but it gave us a clear idea of what the game will be. During the mission that we will experience in this small excerpt of gameplay, our agent is busy foiling the threat of a dangerous criminal called Chili Spywhich is trying to explode the luxurious Fry Train with its very dangerous spicy devices.
Without going into the details of the plot of this short part to leave you the pleasure of trying the demo, we will focus mainly on the gameplay.
Pizza Spy has a great gaming system simple How much congenial. First of all, the inventory will be placed at the bottom, and we can open it simply by moving the mouse cursor to the edge of the screen, while with the space bar we can make evident all the active points with which it will be possible to interact on any seabed.
The main novelty of the game, however, is the possibility of choice: keeping up with the times, Pizza Spy will allow us to act in certain situations with a approach chosen by us: Direct, Stealthy or neutral. This, which we can choose by simply scrolling the mouse wheel, will influence the outcome of some actions, but also on our relationship with certain characters, who may prove to be friendly or hostile.
Clearly, if the approaches and choices are different, a change they will also be the implications and the tactics used by our Ace. This opens up a range of really good possibilities, which also opens the way to one decent replayabilitynot only for the scenes, but also for the different scores that can be achieved.
Finally, let's not forget that Pizza Spy will also be present various gadgets that we can use to get to the bottom of the situation: in this demo we were able to try only two types of device, which we had to choose based on the style of play we preferred. In this particular case, they were devices designed to make us interact with objects or people to turn the situation to our advantage… but we will let you discover for yourself what we are referring to!
To conclude, we can reassure you on the level of storytelling: even if in little background and with only a small excerpt of the game, it is already clear what the tone of the game will be: funwith personages that will shine for personal characteristicsand above all full of gag and “particular solutions” for ei riddles puzzle that will present themselves to us.
