Pilots of the MiG-31BM fighters of the Central Military District destroyed targets simulating cruise missiles
The pilots of the MiG-31BM interceptor fighters of the Central Military District (TsVO) worked out the destruction of targets. During training flights at the Ashuluk training ground in the Astrakhan region, the pilots destroyed targets that imitated cruise missiles. This was reported in the press service of the district, reports TASS.
“The young crews of the Mig-31BM supersonic aircraft, using the standard Zaslon-M radar station, searched for and destroyed targets imitating cruise missiles at a flight level of 3,000 to 5,000 meters at a distance of more than 200 kilometers. During training flights, the pilots hit targets with air-to-air guided missiles, both day and night in conditions of limited visibility.
