Yesterday, rain of varying intensity fell on various regions of the country, which led to the flow of valleys, with active winds that led to a decrease in the range of horizontal visibility, with turbulence in the sea waves, as a chance of cumulus clouds formed on some coastal and interior areas, accompanied by active winds that raise dust. And dust, which sometimes leads to low horizontal visibility and sea turbulence, and the National Center of Meteorology calls on the public to take caution while driving, and to avoid going to valleys and places of water gathering.
The lowest temperature in the country was recorded yesterday, which amounted to 7.7 degrees Celsius, in Jebel Jais, “Ras Al Khaimah”, at 06:15 local time in the UAE.
The country is witnessing a weather condition that will continue until Tuesday, according to a report by the National Center of Meteorology, as the country is affected by an upper air depression extending from the west, coinciding with an extension of a superficial depression from the southwest, accompanied by warm and humid southeast winds, with the continued flow of clouds from the west towards the country.
The report indicated that the weather from Friday to Saturday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of some convective clouds forming over some areas, especially the northern, eastern and coastal regions, accompanied by rain of different intensity.
And during the period from Sunday to Tuesday: “The upper depression deepens so that the weather will be cloudy over most areas of the country, interspersed with convective clouds, and accompanied by rain of different intensity at intervals and in separate areas with lightning and thunder sometimes, and the possibility of hail falling on some areas, especially the northern and eastern.”
With regard to winds: “During this period, they will be moderate to active, with speed and strong at times, with clouds that raise dust and dust on open areas.” With regard to the sea: medium waves will be turbulent at times in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman, especially with clouds.
Yesterday afternoon, heavy rains fell on large areas of the city of Al Ain and its suburbs, accompanied by strong winds and thunder. A large number of Al Ain residents went out to Bida Bint Saud area to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

Strong winds accompanied by dust blew over the city of Al Ain before the rains, while temperatures dropped dramatically, reaching 17 degrees Celsius. Heavy rain reduced visibility to less than 40 meters in some areas, and some vehicles stopped by the road.
The heavy rain included Al Ain Dubai Road, Al Hayer and Al Nabagh, downtown areas, and the Sheikh Khalifa Mosque area, in addition to Al Hili, Al Masoudi, Al Qattara and Nima areas. It was moderate in Al-Amirah and Al-Shuaib, and light in the rest of the areas of Al-Ain. The sky is still overcast with clouds in large parts of the city and its suburbs.
