The 1961 snapshot of Gogolevsky Boulevard made Muscovites feel nostalgic for their childhood. Photo published in Facebook-the group “Moscow lanes”.
The author of the post noted that “everything is recognizable” in the picture. Many users supported him. Someone confessed that photography sent him back to his childhood, when the boulevard seemed long and wide. “Sweetheart, dear, old Moscow!” – the commentator wrote warmly.
Another woman recognized in the picture the window of the house where she grew up, and the phone booth from which she called her grandmother when she returned home late. “What is all familiar,” – said the user. She was supported by other users, noting that such photos “give rise to a complete sense of belonging.”
Many people noticed in the picture a children’s hairdresser’s and remembered that they went there. There was a woman who said that the staff in her was really prepared to work with “difficult” children who did not want to get their hair cut.
Earlier, Muscovites fondly remembered the Soviet cheburek. Netizens said that they ate and drank with pleasure in such establishments.
