Pharmaceuticals Pfizer and Moderna have increased prices for their corona vaccines in a new deal with the European Union. That reports the British business newspaper Financial Times. The price for a vaccine from Pfizer was 15.50 euros and is now 19.50 euros. Moderna increased the price from 19 euros to 21.50 euros. A source tells the Financial Times that the drug companies are charging more because their vaccines work better than competitors’ vaccines.
