The American pharmaceutical company Pfizer has allowed the possibility of filing an application for registration in Russia of its coronavirus vaccine, developed jointly with the German company BioNTech. This was announced on January 12 in the Pfizer press service.
“Pfizer is considering filing an application for registration of a candidate vaccine against COVID-19 in the Russian Federation,” “RIA News” the message of the pharmaceutical company.

The press service of Pfizer replied that the import of the drug through private ones is impossible, deliveries are allowed only under the concluded state agreements.
On January 8, Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov questioned the safety of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, noting that it raises more and more questions amid the increasing number of deaths after vaccination with this drug.
Earlier in January, it became known about the death of a health worker in Portugal two days after being vaccinated with Pfizer / BioNTech. Later, after vaccination, a doctor in the US state of Florida died. In Norway, three people have died after being vaccinated with the same drug.
Several cases of COVID-19 are also known after receiving the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccination. In New York, a health worker developed a severe allergic reaction after being vaccinated with this drug.
Currently, a large-scale vaccination against coronavirus is underway in Russia. Anyone can be vaccinated with Sputnik V, which became the first vaccine against coronavirus registered in the Russian Federation and in the world. The drug was developed at the Gamaleya Center.
