The fleet of vehicles available to the Finance Police look to sustainability. Precisely for this reason, for the patrolling of the Italian territory the agents of the GdF will now be able to rely on 30 new Peugeot e-208s, which will replenish the fleet as confirmed by the Lion’s automaker. The car handover ceremony took place at the Corps General Command in the presence of the highest institutional officials, with the keys delivered by Salvatore Internullo, the General Manager of Peugeot Italy.

“Today is a very important day for all of us as Italians, because the handover ceremony at the General Command of the Guardia di Finanza in Rome represents a significant moment of the historical period we are experiencing – commented the number one of the Italian division of Peugeot – We are proud to contribute together with the Guardia di Finanza to the progress of our country thanks to the diffusion, knowledge and presence throughout the territory of new technologies linked to sustainable mobility “. All 30 electric 208s delivered to the Guardia di Finanza were supplied with a rental contract through the Leasys company and will be destined for the main Italian metropolitan cities. The specifications are confirmed: driving range of 340 kilometers, 80% battery recharge achievable in just half an hour, electric motor that delivers 136 hp and 260 Nm.
The specific set-up for the Guardia di Finanza was created by Focaccia Group and provides externally flashing lights and micro LEDs perfectly integrated into the bodywork that guarantee maximum visibility in all operating phases, even when the vehicle is stationary. The equipment also includes a desk in plastic material obtained in the rear parcel shelf, with night map light and, at the front, a slot to accommodate the tablet through which to communicate with the Operations Room. There livery of every example of Peugeot e-208 destined for the GdF, finally, is clearly the ordinance one.
