About the most reliable player in the squad of RB Leipzig surprisingly little is said when it comes to the interests of other clubs. Peter Gulácsi, who is also one of the absolute top keepers in Germany, could leave the club in the summer for a relatively small sum.
His advisor Hasan Cetinkaya confirmed this to the picture: “I can confirm that there is a clause in Peter’s contract that can be activated this summer.” The amount for which interested clubs could sign the Hungarian national player is said to be “very low even for Corona times”.

According to the report, Leipzig wants to buy the clause from the important regular employee in order to prevent an unpleasant departure. However, it is unclear whether the Champions League club will be able to do this if a larger club is interested.
As a 30-year-old, Gulácsi still has a lot of good seasons ahead of him as a goalkeeper, so he might be an option for high profile clubs abroad. For a year and a half there have been no noteworthy rumors about his future.
The clause somewhat diminishes the benefit of the fact that Gulácsi’s contract runs until 2023 and can be extended for another year. In summer at the latest we will find out how things will go with the former Liverpool player in Leipzig.
