Mexico.- The company Engineering and Services of Salamanca, involved in a network of bribes to Pemex officialsis a “ghost” company.
Their tax residence is located in a simple private house in Salamanca, Guanajuato, where the owner stated that she does not know any of the alleged shareholders or the company related to Pemex.
Also, Engineering and Services of Salamanca have two RFCs on the Compranet page with the same phone numbers, address and contact emails.
However, when calling the phones to look for the registered shareholders, a woman answered who did not identify herself but said she did not know any of the partners.
Engineering and Services of Salamanca is one of the companies accepted by Pemex to participate as chemical supplier to put in commercial quality the crudes that are processed in the Dos Bocas Maritime Terminal.
REFORMA published that Pemex officials were denounced before the Civil Service and the FGR for favoring companies and including them in the Referential Agreement (ACREF).
