Mexico.- This Wednesday, the general director of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Octavio Romero Oropeza, gave the starting signal for the first 30 tank trucks last milewhich will renew the vehicle fleet of the public company for the distribution of fuels in national territory.
Through a statement, the productive company of the Mexican State announced that in total there will be 1,800 new tank trucks last mile those that make up the new fleet of fuel distributors in the Mexican Republic. He explained that the delivery of these will end in the next 12 months.
“The strategy is to grow from 5,600 to 7,600 daily trips, with which we would go from serving 7,000 service stations to more than 9,000 by the end of the year. With the current fleet, we will reach 900,000 barrels of refined products per day. With the new units, the intention is to increase the transfer routes between terminals from two to 58,” Pemex said in the document published on its official web portal.
