Peacemaker has arrived on HBO Max to impact the DCEU like The Suicide Squad once did on the big screen. With a total of eight episodes, the series is already making waves for its violence, sense of humor and politically incorrect plot.
Many details have delighted the followers of the controversial protagonist. One of these is the intro full of color and joy where everyone dances. To the surprise of many, filmmaker James Gunn shared that he shouldn’t be left out for one important reason during Podly: the Peacemaker podcast.

“One of the fun things you’ll see while watching episodes of the series is that [la intro] he plays a different role in each episode. I know that people will be able to ignore it, I hope they don’t”, were his surprising words about it.
“It always tells a different story. You’ll see as our story gets darker, deeper, and sadder, the dance itself gets sadder, more serious, and less fun. So it’s interesting to see it that way.”
