The Secretary of Civil Protection and Comprehensive Risk Management, Gustavo Ariza Salvatori, reported that on the first day of return to face-to-face classes, the balance was 15 schools where failures in their sanitary protocols were detected, for this reason the recommendation was made.
At a press conference, he stressed that this Monday they implemented a special operation for the return to classes in the classrooms and this Tuesday they will continue, therefore it is planned to visit 30 educational institutions.
“Yesterday tours were made and we detected that there were some flaws in the protocols but they did comply with the basics so that they can work, however the recommendations were made and we hope that today they will comply with them,” emphasized the secretary.
The municipal official commented that all week they will be conducting these reviews and evaluations, in addition to recommending that schools that do not perform the protocol well do so.
Ariza Salvatori specified that this Tuesday the number of workers will be increased so that more schools can be visited, for this reason the schools that do not comply with them are made a recommendation and no closure is foreseen.
“Exhorts are made to comply with the regulations, at this time it is not expected that the schools will be closed, but in the time that elapses, if the protocols are not carried out well, the necessary measures will be taken so that these can be complied with” , he pointed out.
In her turn, the municipal president of Puebla, Claudia Rivera Vivanco, stressed that through the Ministry of Welfare in the months prior to returning to school 200 sinks were installed in educational institutions so that students have access to these socks, in addition to the delivery of more than 700 sanitary kits and in this way prevention is strengthened.
