In Tatarstan, payments have begun to the families of those killed and injured in the L-410 plane crash. This was announced on Tuesday, October 12, by the head of the press service of the head of the republic, Lilia Galimova.
“Payments have started. Some people have already received payments, others will receive them upon receipt of applications, ”she told reporters.
She recalled that payments will be received by the families of all victims and all victims, regardless of the region in which they live.
The families of the victims will be paid 1 million rubles each. Victims who have received serious or moderate harm to their health will receive 400 thousand rubles each.
Light-engine aircraft L-410 crashed on October 10 6 km from the city of Menzelinsk immediately after takeoff. Onboard there were 22 people – paratroopers and two crew members, 16 people were killed. All those killed in the crash have been identified.
A criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of traffic safety rules and the operation of air transport, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence”).
As it became known on October 11, one of the survivors is in a stable serious condition. For the remaining five victims, the prognosis of doctors is favorable.
According to preliminary data, a technical malfunction became the cause of the crash. It was noted that the dead pilots had a lot of experience, and the L-410 was not overloaded and was flying in a normal mode.
