The Payday 3 team is introducing a new feature to the game: Quick Match. This was one of the shooter's big shortcomings since launch.
The team of Payday 3 has just solved one of the great limitations of the shooter: the lack of a quick match function. Until now it was necessary to choose a quick specification and wait for an open spot to play, but with the next update it will be possible to quickly find a match online.
Payday 3's quick match feature it will initially be very basic, as it will only allow you to choose the difficulty level. A more complex version of the system will arrive later and will allow you to define a series of parameters to find the perfect match for you.
Furthermore, there is also a function that allows you to maintain your own group of players at the end of a match, instead of having to recreate a new one each time.
Starbreeze's comment
“This version is a easy to use system that does its job,” says Starbreeze. “The goal we want to achieve with this feature is to get people into the type of game they want with the push of a button. In Payday 2, you could achieve this in two ways: either sit on Crime.Net until you found something interesting, or use the quick play menu with the filters that were added to the game post-release.”
“We know we want it create an updated quickplay, a v2, building on the foundation we have for this update. Its appearance is still under discussion and we are open to suggestions. Right now, we're faced with the possibility of creating a standalone Quick Match v2 with filters, or somehow putting it into the Crime.Net-style server browser, coming later this year.”
Starbreeze invites players to leave feedback on the type of quick match system, which is possible to do here.
Finally, we remind you that the Payday 3 team dismissed its CEO after the game's difficulties.
