The mayor of Archena, a benchmark for critics of López Miras, speaks for the first time about the people’s war
The mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, whom critics of the PP in the Region of Murcia see as an alternative to Fernando López Miras, broke her silence on Monday within the internal war that the popular formation has been experiencing since last Thursday.
Fernández wrote a tweet in the afternoon in which, “from loyalty”, he called for “urgent solutions” for the Popular Party, in order to provide stability to the organization “to once again be a political benchmark for our country.”
From the loyalty that characterizes me, I consider that our @popular It needs urgent solutions that guarantee the stability of the party to once again be a political reference in our country.

The message is ambiguous and it cannot be said outright that the mayor of Archena joins the voices that demand the resignation of the president of the PP, Pablo Casado, and the general secretary, Teodoro García Egea. However, the tone is similar to that used by the president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Núñez-Feijóo. The Galician baron is emerging in recent hours as an alternative to Casado, whom he has asked for “a final decision” to end the internal crisis.
The president of the Community and the PP of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, has been left alone in the defense of Pablo Casado and Teodoro García Egea. The rest of the popular autonomous rulers, such as Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla (Andalusia) and Alfonso Fernández Mañueco (Castilla y León), have joined Feijóo and Ayuso in their crusade against Genoa.
