According to the study, ten percent of parents admitted that if they were offered a free upgrade during their flight, they would leave their child of any age alone in economy class.
About 10 percent of travelers expressed a desire to change seats separately only after their children were five years old, nine percent consider it acceptable to leave one ten-year-old child. Another 12 percent of passengers said that they could enjoy champagne in first class without worrying about their children, only after the last 15 years of age.
Earlier in September, analysts named Russians’ favorite foreign destinations for traveling without children in early autumn. Thus, the majority of tourists prefer to spend their holidays in Turkey – it accounts for 43 percent of air ticket bookings for adults only. Greece and Egypt ranked second in popularity (six percent each).
