The rest of the week, payment for the service is only required from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Parking Service ORA (Parking Regulatory Ordinance) of the municipality of Cartagena is once again free during the evenings and weekends of August. In this way, from this Monday, the neighbors do not have to pay to park in the blue and green (work) zones during the afternoon. The rest of the week, the payment of the ORA service is only required from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., municipal sources reported.
After the summer, the hours of the regulated establishment will return to normal, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On Saturdays it works from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., being free in the afternoons. Sundays and holidays are free throughout the year. In addition, the ORA also does not operate on the Saturday after Friday of Sorrows, Holy Saturday and the Saturday after the Carthagineses and Romanos festival.
Rates
The fee for the service is 20 cents per half hour; 60 cents for an hour; €1.60 for two hours; and 2.50 for three hours. The green zone also has a payment of 2.40 euros for the whole day and 1.80 euros for a morning or afternoon. Tickets can be obtained from vending machines or parking meters located in the area.
The regulated parking area, known as ORA, has three different areas marked with different colored paint. The blue zone allows a greater rotation of vehicles and offers a minimum parking of 30 minutes and a maximum of two and a half hours; while the green (work) is intended for long-term parking. Finally, the orange zone (residents) is exclusive for those who live in the vicinity of the zone and have a badge that proves it.
