Ciudad Juárez— This morning, at approximately 11:40, an unfortunate incident occurred in the parking lot of the Social Security Family Medicine Unit 46. A parker was run over by the driver of an old, sand-colored Ford F150 pickup truck.
According to eyewitness accounts, the driver was trying to park and did not notice the parking attendant, hitting him with the rear of his vehicle. The impact threw the park attendant, leaving him injured on the ground.
The first responder to the scene was unit 1046 of the Traffic Safety Corporation, who secured the area and facilitated access to emergency services. The Mexican Red Cross sent ambulance Chih-381 to treat the injured park ranger, to transfer him to clinic 66 where he will undergo tests to rule out internal injuries.
The responsible driver contacted his insurance company, which will cover the medical expenses arising from this incident.
“This event highlights the importance of caution when driving in crowded areas and the need to respect road safety rules to prevent accidents like this,” said one of the witnesses of the incident.
