According to the Rio State Health Department (SES), Jackeline Cristina arrived at the unit at 22:33, accompanied by her mother, Jaciara da Fonseca Ventura de Oliveira. At 41 weeks of pregnancy, she was hospitalized and underwent routine exams, which indicated the urgency of a cesarean.
According to SES, the birth of Samuel took place at a time when the safety of babies and mothers are a priority in the state management, with actions to raise awareness and investments in safe birth.
