The press credits trailer for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door confirms the many qualities of the remake produced by Nintendo, which apparently was particularly appreciated by both international and Italian newspapers.
It is precisely the latter that were reported in the video, with a series of enthusiastic reviews which scream masterpiece and timeless classic, mainly due to the goodness of the remake for Nintendo Switch.
Naturally, it is also and above all the starting point that has contributed to determining such positive evaluations, and from this point of view the original Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the GameCube still stands today as an excellent title.
Yet another great remake
Nintendo definitely knows its way around remakes and remasters: a branch of products that are certainly not lacking in the Japanese company’s catalogue, and indeed represent a fundamental resource given the library of titles available for “less fortunate platforms” such as GameCube and Nintendo 64.
Relaunching these experiences, obviously in the face of a revisited technical sector, therefore arises a winning strategy and it is likely that we will see it again in action in the months that separate us from the debut of Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled for 2025.
Returning to this specific remake, in the review of Paper Mario: The Millennial Portal we underlined the many strengths of the game and its qualities but also some critical issues, see for example the transition to 30 fpswhich some have criticized a lot, and the presence of backtracking that is difficult to ignore.
