Chihuahua, Chih.- PAN federal legislators agreed that they expected a call for national unity, and a recognition of the country’s plurality, which did not occur, during Claudia Sheinbaum’s inauguration in the Chamber of Deputies.
Senator Mario Vázquez highlighted that he heard a speech and witnessed an event that largely revolved around the outgoing president, the figure of López Obrador, and that even the President unconsciously, after putting on the presidential sash, still calls President to the previous president.
“She spoke about the continuity of social programs and trains, which are not ideas that have emerged from her but rather projects that the outgoing president leaves in the collective memory, but we need more gestures of economic proposal, independence and our own ideas. This leaves us worried,” declared Vázquez Robles.
He said he hopes that Mexico adopts a good path to correct what is missing, rebuild the health system, economic development, healthy diplomatic relations, security and programs for the countryside.
sectarian message
Federal representative Rocío González criticized the exclusionary position that she considered Claudia Sheinbaum maintained during her inauguration in the Chamber of Deputies, as she said, she did not turn to look at the opposition or send a message of political collaboration.
“It was a sectarian message, directed only at one sector and lacking plurality. The opposition did not even turn to look at us to invite us to build consensus.
“It was a message directed to his group and not to Mexico,” he stated verbatim.
González Alonso described Sheinbaum Pardo’s message in the Chamber of Deputies as “a morning in Claudia’s voice” and nothing stood out about the content beyond the fact that she is the first president of Mexico.
He recalled that 36 million Mexicans voted for Morena and the message should have been addressed to the population of 120 million that make up the people of Mexico, in addition to hoping that in these years the National Women’s Institute will be supported, an institution that he assured was absent during the last six years.
