Pakistani man jailed for life for murder gets prestigious scholarship

A Pakistani man imprisoned for murder in the overcrowded Karachi prison has been awarded a prestigious accounting scholarship. Syed Naeem Shah was awarded the scholarship after achieving one of the highest scores in a school exam, 954 out of 1,100 points. Shah: “What I achieved while languishing in prison is not possible if you have no conviction.”
