Pablo Lemus claims to be the governor of Jalisco who has received the most votes in history

“For me It is a great honor to be the Governor-elect who has received the most votes in the history of our state,” he wrote today. Pablo Lemus Navarro on their social networks when sharing their victory in the 2024 elections.

The news was shared after it became known that the next governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus Navarro (2024-2030), obtained a total of one million, 626 thousand, 941 votes during the elections of last June 2in which his main opponent was Claudia Delgadillo, Morena’s candidate, who has not yet accepted her defeat.

“I accept this achievement as the most important in my career in public service, and with all my heart, I thank the 1,626,941 Jalisco residents who placed their trust in me this June 2. “We are ready to continue building good governments and from these days we are already working to achieve it,” he added. Pablo Lemus in a statement he posted on his website.

He outgoing governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírezalso celebrated that on June 2, the votes with the highest participation in the history of the state were held and boasted that the Citizen Movement party, in which he is a member, won several mayoralties and deputies, in addition to the governorship.

“The elections on June 2 were the largest that have ever been held in our state. Imagine, 57% of the citizens of Jalisco, that is, 3 million 768 thousand 443 free men and women, went out to vote in around 11 thousand polling stations in a peaceful and exemplary manner… almost 40% of our municipalities will be governed by women and the Congress of Jalisco will be made up of 19 deputies.”

Finally, Enrique Alfaro said that Movimiento Ciudadano is now a party with great value in Mexico. “This was just the first test and we are already a national example. “I am sure that, together with the will of Jalisco, we will be the first state to guarantee 100% substantive parity.”

It is worth mentioning that today, the national president of the Citizen Movement, Dante Delgadoalso boasted about the result that his party achieved in the 2024 federal elections.

“We grew up playing fair. “We were the only force that respected the electoral times”said Dante Delgado when boasting that this 2024 Citizen Movement had a growth of 513% in the preferences shown on the electoral ballots, surpassing other important political parties in Mexico, such as the PRI and PAN.
