Overwatch 2 It finally hit the market yesterday. While many gamers couldn’t wait a single second to enjoy this free-to-play hero shooter, the launch was anything but successful. Immediately, a series of problems began to be reported that prevented access to the game, and so far there is no solution. This is because Overwatch 2 has suffered from multiple DDoS attacks.
Through his social networks, Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard, confirmed that the Overwatch 2 servers are suffering from a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack, which usually occur when something is maliciously flooded with traffic to prevent others from connecting.
“Unfortunately, we are experiencing a massive DDoS attack on our servers. Teams are working hard to mitigate/manage. This is causing a lot of drop/connection issues.”

Although many expected these problems to be fixed by today, Aaron Overwatch 2 director Keller has confirmed that a second DDoS attack has affected the game.
“We are making steady progress on server issues and stability, as well as working on a second DDoS attack. We are all hands on deck and will continue to work through the night. Thank you for your patience. We will share more information as it becomes available.”
