Flying Angels Foundation the Genoese association (located in via San Luca 2, Tel .: 010 098 3277) celebrates 10 years of activity. By networking with leading humanitarian organizations and hospitals nationally and internationally, the Foundation has helped about 2,200 more children in 70 countries, financing over 4,100 airline tickets and covering nearly 10 million miles, the equivalent of nearly 400 world tours.

AND the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts dedicated a special logo to the birthday of the Foundation, developed by Giacomo Rizzo, student of the Three-year Artistic Design for Business: pro bono collaboration that involved the young creatives of the Academy in the creation of an real product creating mutual value.
Throughout 2022, the original logo will characterize a broad program of initiatives to spread and enhance the commitment of the Flying Angels Foundation to guarantee the right to health and life of girls and boys at all latitudes.
The events in favor of Flying Angels
Many sporting events, which will involve the public in raising funds in support of the Flying Angels mission, starting with the 3 golf competitions organized by Villa Montallegro in the year of the seventieth anniversary of its foundation: on April 10 at the Rapallo Golf and Tennis Club, on May 29 at the Villa Carolina Golf Club in Capriata d’Orba (AL) and the traditional date of June 24 with the Edoardo GB Riboli Trophy, at the Colline del Gavi Golf Club in Tassarolo (AL). Finally, the ProAm racealso in Colline del Gavi, on 19 September, which will conclude the rich golf season of 2022.
Flying Angels it will also be among the non-profit organizations benefiting from the Milan City Marathon, Sunday 3 April: for the first time it is possible to participate in the event through the relay formula, in teams of 4 and raise funds for children waiting to fly to life-saving treatments.
The Foundation will participate in the event as “Wild partner”with a team of 8 teams, to finance 8 short-haul round-trip flights for a baby accompanied by his mother.
The events related to 10 years of Flying Angels will go live in May, with the participation of important partners such as the Orsero Group, leader in Mediterranean Europe for the distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables, which, through some dedicated initiatives, will also support the financing of flights for 10 children.
Thursday 19th Mayin the Salone del Maggior Consiglio of Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, will take place the charity dinner, solidarity event to raise funds to finance an increasing number of life-saving flights, realized with the support of di Axpo Italy, a leading company in the energy sector. Headquartered in Genoa, Axpo is constantly committed to ensuring a sustainable future through cutting-edge energy solutions.
To learn more about the value and social impact of Flying Angels’ activitiesSaturday 21 May, in the Sala del Minor Consiglio in the Palazzo in Genoa, the results of the analysis on the SROI – Social Return on Investment. This will be an opportunity to tell, together with many partners, how the “Solidarity chain” in which Flying Angels fits effectively, with the sole objective of safeguarding the right to life and health of the little ones. In the afternoon there will also be a moment of play dedicated to children and families.
Also Bagnara Lily, the largest department store in Liguria also confirms its support for the Flying Angels Foundation, with some in-store promotional initiatives. Among these, from 20 to 30 April, for every purchase made at the children’s department in the historic store Bagnara Store in Sestri Ponentea percentage will be donated to the Flight Emergency Fund.
