The Nerazzurri legend will not be the first technical manager of the Italian champions next season. Put in black and white after a long negotiation
“FC Internazionale Milano announces that, with effect from today, Gabriele Oriali has been relieved of the position of First Team Technical Manager”. With a note of a few lines on their website, Inter made official today, Friday 20 August, the separation with Lele Oriali, who alongside Antonio Conte had raised the Scudetto last May.
“The company thanks the Manager for the work done and wishes the best for the continuation of his professional activity”, thus closes the note. In reality it was already known from the end of July that the former Inter legend would leave the club, after a face to face postponed only by the commitments with the national team. After all, Oriali had been cryptic about his future even after the Scudetto, explaining that he should first have understood the club’s plans, struggling with the strong economic difficulties that forced the Zhang property to dismantle the Italian champion team. Today he was “relieved of office”.
