Nike opened a 570m² store at Shopping Ibirapuera, in São Paulo. Focused on giving a new experience to the consumer at the time of purchase, it will have three pillars: women, sustainability and services.
“The opening of the Nike store at Shopping Ibirapuera will further strengthen our relationship with consumers, in addition to offering a premium shopping journey,” explained Karsten Koehler, general director of Fisia, Nike’s distributor in Brazil.

With women in mind, the store will bring a sector in the fitting room area where consumers will be able to measure the tops to choose the one that best suits their body. In addition, there will be a Nike by You area where the customer can customize sneakers, tops, t-shirts and shirts.
Another novelty is that the store will offer a reverse logistics system, which will collect the brand’s products that would be discarded to be transformed into something else.
Brand will expand outlet
The store model called “Nike value Store”, a kind of outlet for the brand, will also be expanded in Brazil. With the idea of offering more accessible products to the consumer, the company will distribute the stores in malls and on high-traffic streets.
São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Goiás, Maranhão, Piauí, Paraíba and Pará will have stores like this. With this, the brand will expand the number of own stores in Brazil from 22 to 38.
