This Monday (7), the day that marks one year since the attacks by the terrorist group Hamas on Israel that resulted in the death of 1,200 people and the kidnapping of another 250, the Venezuelan dictatorship carried out an “anti-fascist” act and “anti-Zionist”.
According to information from the website Efecto Cocuyo, the event in Caracas was presided over by the Venezuelan Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello. The so-called Anti-Fascist and Anti-Zionist Tribune was attended by the ambassador of the State of Palestine in Venezuela, Fadi Alzaben.
“When we raise the Palestinian flag, we raise the free flags of the people of the world, of the people who do not surrender, of the people who fight,” said Cabello.
“As Commander Hugo Chávez always taught us, our solidarity has no limitations, our solidarity is absolute with the people who love freedom and our condemnation is total against the imperialists, the genocidaires, against the United States and the Zionist State of Israel”, added the Chavista minister.
Since the beginning of the offensive that Israel has carried out in the Gaza Strip in response to Hamas attacks, the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro has been criticizing the government of Benjamin Netanayahu.
In May, the dictator stated that the action in Gaza is “one of the most terrible genocides that humanity has experienced since the time of Hitler”. In August, he made anti-Semitic statements in an interview, saying he suffered an “attempted coup” supported by what he called “Zionist influence” in the media.
Maduro has well-documented relations with Hezbollah, which has been attacking Israel since the start of the war in Gaza, and at the end of September condemned the death of the leader of the Lebanese terrorist group, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli bombing of Beirut.
