An 81 -year -old old man who was hit last Monday by a scooter when he crossed A pedestrian crossing on the Independence Paseo de Zaragozadied on Wednesday afternoon, February 5, sources from the Department of Health have reported.
The incident took place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, when two people crossed, apparently, for one of the pedestrian crossings of this central route of the Aragonese capital and were run over by a scooter.
The driver of the personal mobility vehicle was unharmed, while there were two injured, both transferred to the Miguel Servet hospital in the capital. The old man could not overcome the seriousness of the wounds and died 48 hours after the accident in a zebra crossing. The woman, also an old woman although she has not detailed whether she is the wife of the deceased, evolves favorably.
The Judicial Police Unit has been in charge of investigating the causes of the event.
