elEconomista.es will celebrate next Thursday, October 31, starting at 9:30 a.m., the event Partners and suppliers: The challenge of building a sustainable value chain.
The event will feature a debate table moderated by Javier Mesones, head of the Business and Finance Editorial Department at elEconomista.es, in which Katherine Anchorena, director of the Sustainability Committee of Grupo Acideka, will participate; Francisco Vidal, director of Economy and Sectoral Policies of CEPYME; Yolanda Alcalá García, Deputy Director General of Support for SMEs of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism; Fernando Hinojosa, director of Strategic Purchasing, Processes and Systems at Acciona and Lucas Hunter, director of Standards and Programs at B Lab Spain.
This meeting will discuss, among other points, how Sustainability has become crucial for companies in the supply chain. On the one hand, measuring environmental, social and governance risks from suppliers remains a challenge to ensure they do not negatively impact companies’ credentials. At the same time, a global and diverse value chain offers new and differential opportunities.
