Apple he presented officially the new smartphone lines iPhone 13 And iPhone 13 Pro during the California Streaming event which ended a few moments ago. No surprise in terms of news: the fault of the many indiscretions that have involved both families of devices during these months, which have actually anticipated the characteristics of the new devices of the bitten apple. Let’s find out together what are the price and technical specifications of both lines.
iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini in the name of continuity
Let’s start with the standard device family, iPhone 13, with 6.1 inch display accompanied by the consolidated variant Mini, which mounts a panel instead of 5.4 inches. The screen is kind OLED, with greater brightness than last year’s model: the design with aluminum frame confirmed.
As we said at the beginning, not much is to be expected in terms of new features or radical changes. More than focusing on major changes, refine and improve the 2020 generation, probably postponing a new change of direction from the past to 2022.
The differences are therefore essential, starting with notch reduced by 20 percent, when installing a more powerful processor: theA15 Bionic which, according to what the Cupertino manufacturer reports, is faster and more energy efficient than the A14 Bionic mounted on the iPhone 12. Going into detail, the chip is always 5 nm, with a 6 core CPU, defined by Apple as the fastest ever installed in a smartphone.
Work has also been done with regards to battery: iPhone 13 promises an average duration of about 2 and a half hours longer than its predecessor, while the Mini model guarantees an increase, compared with the past, of an hour and a half. Everything is thanks to larger batteries, improved processor performance, and further software enhancements and optimizations.
The most important change comes from photographic sector: iPhone 13 mounts in fact the same set of cameras seen on the iPhone 12 Pro, with a physically larger 47 percent sensor that allows you to capture more light in dark environments with less noise. The new wide angle sensorIn detail, it’s a 12-megapixel lens with an f / 1.6 aperture, while the new 12-megapixel ultrawide camera features a faster f / 2.4 lens and a 120-degree field of view.
To close, Apple promises improved 5G performance compared to iPhone 12, with greater bandwidth support that should improve the connectivity experience on an international level: the goal is to support 200 operators in over 60 countries and regions by the end of 2021.

iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max: 120Hz display
During the presentation, there was obviously the presence of iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. They obviously represent the flagship devices of the new smartphone family, which come with the new A15 Bionic chip, three completely new cameras and above all a improved display capable of reaching a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak of brightness at 1000 nits.
Let’s start with the panels Super Retina XDR, installed on both models, which support variable refresh rates between 10 and 120 Hz, confirming last year’s diagonals from 6.1 and 6.7 inches. As in the standard version, the size of the notch has also been reduced here.
There are also important news on the photographic sector, with a new three-camera systemand that should offer one better photography in low light conditions. The wide angle points to just as many improvements, thanks to a larger aperture. The telephoto lensInstead, it now achieves 3x zoom, enabling 6x optical zoom on the three cameras. A night mode has been included for the entire set of lenses, with one new macro mode for photographing subjects as low as 2cm. Finally, there is also optical image stabilization with sector shifting on both smartphones.
The The heart of the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max is the A15 Bionic processor with improved CPU and GPU performance I respect the last generation. Exactly as for the standard model, here too we worked on autonomy with an increase of an hour and a half for 13 Pro and two and a half hours on 13 Pro Max. For both solutions, a new variant was finally designed with well 1 TB of memory!
