The complainant then exercised the right of appealwhich was brought forward by another independent lawyer. All stages of the process have now been completed, with the final result being that the appeal was not accepted. The legal conclusions have been accepted and adopted by Red Bull. The internal process has thus concluded and the company, out of respect for the privacy of all its employees, will not make any further public statements. Red Bull is committed to continuing to uphold the highest standards in the workplace“.
The stages of the story
On February 5, Red Bull, through a press release, confirmed the internal investigation against the team principal of the F1 team, Christian Horner. Four days later, the British driver was heard by the independent lawyer appointed to analyze the case. On February 28, just a few days before the start of the world championship, the news of Horner’s acquittal was released. On March 7, the Red Bull employee was then suspended from work, while on March 16, the woman’s intention to appeal emerged.
In recent months, the possibility had emerged that the employee could take her accusations to the ordinary justice system, in the event that the appeal was not accepted.
