He Liverpool F.C. made official this Monday the incorporation of Dutch coach Arne Slot as the team’s new coach, replacing Jurgen Kloppwho said goodbye to the club last Sunday after nine seasons on the bench.
Slot, 45, arrives at Liverpool with the reputation of being an offensive coach, a faithful exponent of the Dutch style of football.

Despite his short career, the Dutch coach has achieved great success during his time at Feyenoord, a club he has led since 2021.
“I am very happy and excited to join such a historic and legendary club as Liverpool,” declared Slot in his official presentation. “I arrive with ambition and hunger for titlesand I am sure that, together with the squad and the fans, we can achieve great things in the coming years.”
A major challenge: succeeding the legend of Klopp
The task that Slot faces will not be easy, since he arrives to replace such an emblematic figure as Jurgen Kloppwho has left an indelible mark on Liverpool.

Klopp received an emotional farewell at Anfield last Sunday, after his last game in charge of the team.
