With video card prices starting to return to pre-pandemic levels, the wait is for new video cards Nvidia and AMD is getting more and more turned on, considering that once again, we should expect a big evolutionary leap especially in the ray-tracing field.
One of the most active leakers in this sector is certainly kopite7kimi which in the last period has launched various information on the new monstrous set of Nvidia GPUs, with the RTX 4090 which according to the available data would have unprecedented powers and frequencies.
For the latter we are talking about a TGP of 450W and a clock of 2.23GHz (2.52 in boost) with estimates that would attest the video card on the threshold of 90TFLOP. The available memory will also be huge, with 24GB GDDR6X at 21Gbps and a 384-bit bus.
Continue to update.
RTX 4090, AD102-300-A1, 16384FP32, 384bit 21Gbps 24G GDDR6X, 450W, base 2235 boost 2520 actual max> 2750;
RTX 4080, AD103-300-A1, 10240FP32, 256bit 21Gbps 16G GDDR6X, 420W,
RTX 4070, AD104-275-Kx (x is a number) -A1, 7168FP32, 160bit 18Gbps 10G GDDR6, 300W.– kopite7kimi (@ kopite7kimi) July 4, 2022
Lower but still first-rate performance for RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 with the former having “only” 16 GB of memory available (always GDDR6X at 21Gbps) and a 420W TGP while, for 4070, we would talk about a 300W TGP and a memory of 10GB but at 18Gbps GDDR6. All that remains is to wait for the much-desired official reveal.
