NVIDIA has released a trailer showing the performance increase of Ghost of Tsushima on PC using DLSS 3 technology: the game reaches over 230 fps.
Technology NVIDIA DLSS 3 thanks to Frame Generation it pushes Ghost of Tsushima until over 230 fps on PC: this is revealed by the trailer published a few hours after the launch of the Sucker Punch title on Steam.
The video shows the game with and without DLSS 3 enabled, e.g the difference in performance terms is sensational: the frames are more than doubled with the same visual quality, to the advantage of configurations equipped with NVIDIA RTX 40 series cards but perhaps not particularly advanced.
Features that are undoubtedly facilitating the launch of Ghost of Tsushima, which is first on Steam with almost 60,000 contemporary players: the fourth best result ever for PlayStation productions on the Windows platform.
The official benchmarks
To accompany the trailer, NVIDIA has released i official benchmarks of Ghost of Tsushima, here too with the distinction between the presence of DLSS 3 technology or its lack: on an RTX 4070 at 2160p we go from 41 to 108.7 frames per second, while the absolute numbers increase based on the GPU .
Going down to 1440p, again on the RTX 4070 we travel between 72.4 fps and 144.8 fps by activating DLSS 3, while at 1080p the mid-range video card approaches 190 frames per second with Frame Generation operating.
It also runs well on Steam Deck
It therefore seems that Nixxes has done an excellent job, as the performance of Ghost of Tsushima on Steam Deck also seems to confirm, decidedly surprising thanks to the optimization carried out by the development team.
This despite the game appearing as not compatible with Valve handheld: a situation linked solely to some Windows functions integrated into the Legends multiplayer mode.
