Minden / Lübbecke – The rush to test centers in the corona pandemic has caused chaotic traffic conditions in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Minden-Lübbecke. According to the police, several patrol cars had to intervene in Lübbecke on Tuesday evening because traffic on federal highway 65 was blocked in both directions. In addition, according to the police, some of the waiting drivers were on a level crossing. Because none of the measures worked, the test center was shut down in the evening.
The police also had to regulate traffic in Minden. The access to the test center was also blocked here because the traffic backed up into the access road. According to the police, the situation then calmed down. Because of the stricter 3G rules with controls at the workplace and in public transport, the test centers across the country, including Cologne, reported a rush. (dpa)
