As suggested by leaker Nate the Hate, Nintendo will announce something in Octoberin this case the Japanese company will present new hardware but it won’t be Switch 2but something different.
Already in the past Nate has used the expedient of polls on his YouTube channel in order to provide clues to Nintendo’s movesputting “strategic” likes on the comments that in his opinion were right with the forecasts and thus anticipating the announcement of several Directs.
In this case the leaker’s attitude would seem to suggest that there will be a reveal in October and new hardware will actually be presented, only it won’t be a console but rather a device that Nintendo recently registered with the FCC.
The most likely hypothesis is that the Kyoto house is about to launch a new peripheral for Nintendo Switch which could contribute to the sales of the hybrid platform during the Christmas period: if the rumors are true, we will soon find out what it is.
And the reveal of Nintendo Switch 2?
If indeed the October announcement will be related to the device registered by Nintendo with the FCC, one rightly wonders when we will see the expected reveal of Nintendo Switch 2 and you may not like the answer, but it seems very plausible.
With the new console coming out in 2025 and this elusive peripheral perhaps destined to arrive in stores by the end of the year, there is a real possibility that the company doesn’t want to damage the Christmas sales of its current flagship speaking of the imminent arrival of his successor.
It may therefore be that to attend theannouncement of Nintendo Switch 2 we will have to wait until the beginning of next year, with a launch that could take place in March or April, depending on the numbers that will be totaled during the last quarter of 2024.
