Five civilians, including a child, died inside the building, of which the first three floors were damaged, according to the Observatory, which added that four other people also died, two of them were not Syrian, and a dozen They were injured.
For their part, witnesses indicated Efe that the attack targeted a floor of the Mezzeh 14 building and that the action left “many injured” who were treated by emergency teams, while sources from the Syrian Civil Defense indicated that operations have begun to rescue people from under the rubble.
This attack, which has not been claimed so far by Israel, comes just six days after at least three civilians were killed and others were injured in an action also directed against a building in Mezzeh.
That building, according to the Observatory then, was frequently visited by leaders of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The day before that attack, another attack on Mezzeh killed a Syrian state television journalist named Safaa Ahmed and two other civilians.
