Developers VEA Games and publisher Knights Peak have announced the release date of Nikoderiko: The Magical Worlda platformer that seems to take inspiration from classics of the genre such as Donkey Kong and Crash Bandicoot. The game will be available from October 15th on PS5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch from the October 15th at the price of 29.99 euros, with the PC version to be released at a later date.
The announcement was accompanied by a gameplay trailer that you can find below, which offers a new taste of some of the levels in the game, including classic platform sections, timed challenges and situations in which we will have to make our way through obstacle courses on the back of various types of animals.
A platform game for the whole family to play together
Presented with a trailer during the Future Games Show in June, in Nikoderiko: The Magical World we take on the role of brothers Niko and Luka who will have the task of thwarting Grimbald’s plans. To do so, we will travel to seven different worlds, where various challenges and adventures await us.
The game includes a two-player co-op mode split-screen and boasts a soundtrack by David Wisea legendary composer who created most of the music tracks for the Donkey Kong Kong Country series and dozens of other titles.
