The announcement of NieR Automata on Nintendo Switch it was well received by everyone, or almost. The Square-Enix title will arrive on Nintendo Switch both in physical and digital versions, however, sparking the ire of fans of Kingdom Hearts.
In fact, Square-Enix itself has released the historic title starring Sora only in the cloud version and not without problems. In order for it to work properly, a restorative patch was required, which was necessary to allow players to access it. On the forums, therefore, the uproar was unleashed regarding the inequality of treatment.
Obviously getting Kingdom Hearts to work locally must have been very complex & boxh; for some reason & boxh; while, albeit with some limitations, NieR Automata seems to have no major problems, as well as Doom Eternal or The Witcher III. Seeing these obvious treatment discrepancies, there are also those who find it intolerable:
I have every reason to be mad that Nier gets to be on the Switch physically and digitally with no cloud version while Kingdom Hearts Only gets the Cloud Version. Unacceptable.

The mood is more or less this. Perhaps Square-Enix will take action now, given the noise that has broken out. We will see.
