After many rumors about whether the talented and recognized Nicolas Cage will be in “Doctor Strange: in the multiverse of madness” with his character Ghost Rider, the actor has clarified that so far he has not had any contact with Kevin Feig or someone from Marvel Studios, either to return as the great Johnny Blaze or participate in any tape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
For the Comic Book medium, Nicolas Cage said he had not spoken to anyone from Marvel: “That hasn’t happened, but the interesting thing is that no one asked me about going back to Ghost Rider.”

To which he also referenced a past statement that was misconstrued: “That was a question that came up, and they weren’t asking about Ghost Rider, they were asking ‘What do you think of Marvel movies?’ And I gave my opinion on it.”
When Cage was asked about his return as the ‘Ghost Rider’, he expressed the following: “Ghost Rider is an incredible character. I mean, he’s a complicated character. It’s like, how do you tell the story of Faust within the context of that universe? Because he is a very philosophical character. I think he makes him special from other superheroes.”

Nicolas Cage brought to life Johnny Blaze in the 2007 film “Ghost Rider: The Phantom Avenger” and returned to characterize him in “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” in 2011.
Since then we have not seen him on paper again; However, since phase 4 of the UCM was announced with new superheroes and villains never before seen in live action, fans have asked to see Cage again in the skin of Ghost Rider for a possible “Midnight Sons” tape.
